About Teresa

Teresa was born on the same day that Skylab fell.  Coincidence?  She doesn’t think so.

She is a writer and professional geek.  Teresa is also a late bloomer, so don’t expect her to get cool for at least another 20 years.  Right now, she’s perfectly happy to be so ridiculously uncool that she’s cool by default.  As a writer, her work has appeared in Elmont Life newspaper, and on the sadly defunct website, CentralBooking.com, edited by Kevin Smokler.  She is currently a contributing writer to PinkRaygun.com, a webzine that focuses on geekery from a feminine perspective, and she’s recently become a comic writer for PopMatters.com.  Teresa’s currently at work on several personal projects, including a webseries called The Pack for Pareidolia Films in which she also has a supporting role, and a collection of short stories.  As a geek, she loves Star Trek, Lost, Fringe, True Blood, comics, and anything Joss Whedon, Brian K. Vaughan, and Neil Gaiman ever touched.  Teresa has a tendency to develop fangirl *squee-ing* crushes on writers and is an aspiring fangbanger.

Teresa is the founding member of The Revolving Door Commune for Itinerant Artists, and has been living at The Commune since 2003.  She is amazed she hasn’t been driven completely insane.  Yet.
